Once upon a time there was a man named Peter. He had three daughters, two sons and a wife named Lisa. His wife was very sick, but because he was poor he could not buy any medicine. Peter lived in the dump of the city. He would look through rubbish all day and night to try and find some money. One day he found something very strange. He found a book, it was strange because it looked valuable and he tried to think why anyone would throw it away. He opened the first page and saw a warning sign that said “DO NOT OPEN” in bold, red writing. Ignoring the warning he opened the book onto the 2nd page and read the 1st sentence and immediately after the book started shaking, then the earth started shaking and finely he started shaking. Then a shape started to form, it was an odd, confusing shape. It was a genie! Before the genie saw him he dived behind a destroyed car. He did not want the genie to see him because he thought all genies were evil. The genie was very big and looked as strong as an ox. Peter thought of all the stories he heard about genies. He was very scared about the magical genie. He did not know if the was angry or happy. By the time he figured out what he was going to do, the genie had disappeared. Then suddenly he felt a brush on his back when he turned around he saw the genie! Peter was very scared and gave a loud shriek of fear, and asked if the genie could please spare his life. The genie laughed and said to Peter that he was a good genie, and told him not to be scared of him. Then he said that he would give Peter 3 wishes. Peter was so relieved that he hugged the genie. Peter 1st wished for a very big house. His 2nd wish was a huge bucket of gold. Just when he was going to wish for a fancy car he remembered his sick wife and wished for a ....
